Resilience

Adapting to the effects of climate change and securing food production for the future generations is critical.  In a rapidly changing ecosystem we are working to adapt our food production systems to ensure production and food security for our community.

Soil health is fundamental to food production. At Finca Laguna Verde we use no chemical fertilizer, herbicide, or pesticide, implementing instead holistic & permaculture practices, we work to improve soil health in order to make our ecosystem more resilient. With the help of our partners we are documenting the increasing biodiversity in our soils.
